Their facility is a hub for cutting-edge engineering, supporting major technological developments. Due to ongoing growth, they
are expanding their engineering team and are seeking a skilled CAD Engineer to contribute to mission-critical developments.

Position Overview:

Our client seeks a talented and experienced Analysis Engineer to join their growing Engineering team. This opportunity arises from increasing demand for their high-performance products and specialist knowledge. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting structural and thermal analysis activities for complex aerospace systems. This includes performing in-depth engineering analysis and, where necessary, coordinating and supporting external analysis resources. The position offers significant technical challenges and the chance to contribute directly to the delivery of advanced propulsion systems.

Key Responsibilities:

● Performing structural and thermal analyses to a high engineering standard,
including:
○ Generating and setting up finite element models
○ Running relevant analysis cases
○ Reviewing and interpreting results against defined requirements
○ Preparing high-quality technical reports
● Interpreting system-level requirements and identifying applicable analysis requirements
● Providing technical input to design verification and compliance matrices
● Collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to address structural and thermal engineering issues
● Supporting the preparation of non-conformance reports, requests for deviation, and waiver documentation
● Participating in customer meetings, such as design reviews, manufacturing readiness reviews, test readiness reviews, and technical review boards

Qualifications:
● Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline
● Practical experience in bolt analysis for strength, gapping, and slippage under dynamic load conditions
● Strong ability to correlate finite element models with physical test data and refine models accordingly
● Capable of clearly and professionally explaining analytical methodologies to customers
● Understanding of reduced-node model generation for integration into spacecraft-level models
● Deep understanding of mechanical and fluidic system engineering principles
● Excellent attention to detail and precision in all analytical work
● Ability to generate, interpret, and critically review procedures and test concepts
● Logical, intelligent approach to problem solving and troubleshooting
● Sound knowledge of safe engineering practices
● High proficiency in PC-based applications and computer-aided design tools
● Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence a variety of stakeholders
● Proven ability to perform under pressure and meet project deliverables on time and within budget

Desirable

● Positive, proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and evolve in the role
● Experience with finite element analysis software, preferably ANSYS or NASTRAN
○ Static structural including non-linear analysis
○ ANSYS APDL scripting
○ ANSYS Design Modeller or SpaceClaim
○ Modal analysis, random vibration PSD, shock SRS, harmonic analysis
○ Low and high cycle fatigue analysis
○ Steady state and transient thermal simulations
○ Non-linear thermoelastic analysis of ductile materials
● Candidates with strong experience in other finite element packages will also be considered, provided they demonstrate solid understanding of first-principle mechanics and the ability to produce efficient and accurate models

What the Client Offers:
