Position Overview: 
Our client is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of space hardware projects, from concept to delivery, spanning satellites, payloads, launch interfaces, and ground support systems. This multifaceted role requires a technically proficient professional who can lead cross-disciplinary teams, manage budgets and timelines, and maintain strong relationships with clients. You’ll also support proposal development, contribute to design optimization, and ensure quality outcomes that meet both technical and commercial objectives. 


Key Responsibilities: 
● Oversee technical, administrative, and financial aspects of satellite-related projects, ensuring alignment with schedule, cost, and quality targets. 
● Lead coordination across design, structural analysis (FEM), procurement, manufacturing, testing, and delivery phases. 
● Drive internal reporting processes related to cost, quality, and timeline performance. 
● Participate in bid preparation by supporting cost estimation and project planning activities. 
● Act as a key interface with clients while ensuring effective internal coordination across departments. 
● Guide product assurance activities and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. 
● Convene and motivate multidisciplinary teams to maintain momentum and deliver project objectives. 


Qualifications: 
● Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. 
● Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the space industry, preferably in a project engineering or similar coordination role. 
● Familiarity with CAD tools, FEM analysis, and hands-on knowledge of manufacturing and testing processes. 
● Proven ability to align technical solutions with client needs and program constraints. 
● Strong skills in drafting both technical and administrative documentation. 
● Fluent in English; proficiency in French is a significant advantage. 
● Comfortable using MS Office and ERP systems for project management and reporting. 
● Able to travel up to 20% of the time within Switzerland and internationally. 
● Highly autonomous with a proactive and resource-efficient approach to achieving goals.
