Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a Sales Engineer who is passionate about satellite
communications and eager to shape the future of ground systems. This role is integral
to business development and technology assessment for SatCom terminals and ground
stations.
Key Responsibilities:
● Developing new business opportunities and evaluating innovative technologies in
satellite communications
● Leading and managing proposal projects for ground systems in space and
satellite communications
● Technical pre-design and project planning in close collaboration with technical
and commercial departments
● Supporting contract negotiations with international customers
● Conducting small-scale studies on future technologies and market developments
● Establishing and maintaining customer relationships with research institutions,
industry partners, and agencies
● Representing the company at trade fairs and conferences
Qualifications:
● Completed technical degree, ideally with a focus on electrical engineering,
communications engineering, or aerospace
● Solid knowledge in satellite communications
● Professional experience in project or product sales is an advantage
● Experience in project management and systems engineering is desirable
● Knowledge of the customer and supplier market is a plus
● Strong customer orientation and entrepreneurial mindset
● High problem-solving ability, creativity, and teamwork skills
● Innovative thinking as well as a structured and organized working approach
● Willingness to travel occasionally
● Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
