Position Overview: 
Our client seeks a Senior Satellite Systems Engineer to support spacecraft validation 
and verification at the system level. This role involves defining test specifications, 
coordinating engineering activities, and ensuring compliance with technical 
requirements in a dynamic and collaborative environment. 

Key Responsibilities: 
● Support spacecraft validation and verification on a system level. 
● Define test specifications for system-level tests and verification. 
● Coordinate system engineering activities. 
● Collaborate with Architects and Subsystem engineers: 
○ Perform analyses of satellite functional and interface requirements. 
○ Flow down satellite requirements to subsystem-level specifications. 
○ Ensure compliance with satellite technical requirements. 
○ Define satellite configuration and manage internal and external interfaces. 
● Support the generation of AIT plans and operation plans. 
● Supervise satellite test preparations and review test results. 
● Prepare for launch and flight phases. 
● Support maintenance of spacecraft databases and simulators. 
● Contribute to project risk management for technical risks. 

Qualifications: 
● Degree in engineering, physics, or equivalent. 
● Professional experience in satellite projects, preferably in phases A/B and 
verification. 
● Experience in technical negotiations with customers. 
● Self-managed and proactive working style. 
● Ability to work with and implement processes. 
● Strong teamwork and coordination skills. 
● Proficiency in written and spoken English; German and other language skills are 
advantageous.
